Crealy Meadows Caravan and Camping Park -Booking Terms and Conditions
- A minimum number of 3 nights is required at peak times (School holidays)
- A minimum number of 2 nights is required at off-peak times (Term times)
- The cost of the pitch includes the following: Facilities – Showers and toilets with hairdryers and baby change facilities / use of washing up facilities / Children’s play areas / Entertainment / Dishwashing area/ Laundrette* / Shop*. (* -donates payable locally). (Water supply and foul drainage on each pitch – sewerage disposal at each toilet / shower block).
Standard pitch – 10m x 10m – includes car, caravan, tent or motor home for 2 people (fee for extra persons). Grass area available for awnings.
Super pitch – 12m x 12m – hard standing -includes car, caravan, tent or motor home for 2 people (fee for extra persons). Grass area available for awnings.
Medieval pitch / Safari tent includes car, electric, beds and fixtures and fittings for 6 birth (sleeps 8). Specific fixtures and fittings include:
Safari tent
Solid floor, wood-burning stove, 6 birth (sleeps 8) in 2 bedrooms and a cabin room, with a kitchen and sitting area with sofa bed in the living room and covered porch for sitting outside. Pine rustic furniture, wood burning stove, farmhouse style kitchen area with belfast sink and brass taps and dresser. Double bed and mattress in master bedroom and one bunk with 2 beds in the second bedroom and a ‘custom made’ cabin double bed which has doors opening either into the living area or into the bunk bedroom as required. Crockery and cutlery and cooking equipment and utensils will be provided. Guests need to bring their own bedding.
Medieval tent
Solid floor, wood-burning stove, 6 birth (sleeps 8) in 3 bedrooms with a kitchen and sitting area with sofa bed in the living room and covered porch for sitting outside. Pine rustic furniture, wood burning stove, farmhouse style kitchen area with belfast sink and brass taps and dresser. Double bed and mattress in master bedroom and one bunk with 2 beds in the second bedroom and 2 single beds in the third bedroom. Crockery and cutlery and cooking equipment and utensils will be provided. Guests need to bring their own bedding.
For standard pitches and super pitches – electric hook up is an additional charge. Awnings / pup tents / trailers / extra cars and Dogs are extra charge. A late stay may be available subject to availability – not pre-bookable
- Access to Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park is free during off peak / Term periods
- Access to Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park is charged at the same rate as the internet rate = £13.95 per person during peak / School Holidays and is valid for 7 days for the price of 1
- Winter storage is available from 1October through to 1March at £150 for the period with a £30 tow fee to take to and remove from the compound.
- Seasonal pitches are – Standard pitches = £1995 and Super pitches = £3000. Valid from 1May until 4November. The whole family must be or purchase memberships. When booking a picture of the caravan must be included and vans must not be more than 10 years old. See specific terms and conditions for details. Specific reserved pitches for seasonal pitches are standard -S35-41 and SP22-SP26 – super pitches.
- Annual Members of Crealy Great Adventure Parks are entitled to 10% discount off all pitches.
- Our ‘Own a Pony' scheme is FOC when booking for 5+ days (only available for the first 5 days) If staying between 1-4 nights our 'Own a Pony' scheme is charged at £10 per day per pitch (This is subject to availability and on a first come first served basis)
- Entertainment – off-peak / term time – Every Saturday night in Mamma Mia’s. During School holidays – Entertainment every night. A specific schedule will be available when in resort.
- Crealy Meadows do not guarantee allocation of specific pitches but will endeavour to allocate the pitch of choice subject to availability, although this is a request only
- Crealy Meadows do not guarantee to pitch groups of friends and families together during peak periods
- To make a booking, you must be over 18 years old and under 18 year olds must be accompanied by an adult
- Should you terminate your holiday early, no refund will be given for nights not used.
- Crealy Meadows reserve the right to cancel holidays due to inclement weather
- Booking more than one tent?
If you would like to book a pitch next to your friends please put their full name and date of stay in the special requests box. If you wish to book more than one tent adjacent to each other, please book two individual pitches and then request that you would like these together in the comments box
- Pitches will be available after 12 noon on arrival day and must be vacated by 10am on day of departure. No guarantee is given that you can take your pitch if you arrive before 12 noon. Medieval and Safari tents will not be available until 2pm.
- If you wish to extend your stay beyond the period already booked, every effort will be made to accommodate your requirements
- No arrivals are accepted after 10pm
- Guests are asked to vacate their pitch by 10am. If you require a later departure, this may be available subject to availability and a fee is payable locally. This facility can not be pre-booked
- Please note we can only accept one tent per pitch. There must be a 6 metre gap left (20ft) between each tent / caravan for fire and safety reasons. You may be asked to move if too close together
- Size of pitch: The maximum size we can accept is: Super pitches – Caravans -8m x 2.3m and Motorhomes 10m x 2.3m and Standard pitches – 6m x 2.3m and Motorhomes 8m x 2.3m
- Maximum number of people in a tent = Dependant on size of tent
- Only one tent per pitch
- Special requests can not be guaranteed but we will make every effort to meet your requirements
Online Booking Conditions
- Booking your pitch You can reserve your pitch online up until 24 hours before date of stay for a minimum of 2 nights off-peak and 3 nights peak Full payment is required for all bookings made online
Booking in person or by telephone
- All bookings require a 20% deposit at time of booking to reserve the pitch which is non-refundable
- The balance of the holiday is due 28 days prior to arrival date
- At time of booking please provide vehicle registration number
- Bookings are not transferable
- In the event of a cancellation – the 20% deposit required at time of booking is non-refundable. Full payment is due 28 days in advance If booking is cancelled 28 days or less from arrival date there is no refund
For our guests comfort and safety
- Crealy Meadows is a family site only. We do not accept groups of young people or single sex parties unless by agreed prior arrangement
- Crealy Meadows reserve the right to refuse admission to any persons
- The management reserve the right to terminate the booking at any time, night or day, of any person whose conduct is detrimental to the park or comfort of any visitors. No refund will be given
- Crealy Meadows cannot accept any liability whatsoever for loss, damage, accident or injury to persons, property or personal belongings however caused during your stay
- No lorries, commercial vehicles or converted vehicles allowed in the park without prior arrangement
- Unlicensed motorised vehicles, e.g. quad / micro scooters are not permitted
- Please respect the occupants and property of the other pitches on the park by keeping the noise to a minimum especially between 10pm and 7am
- Parents / Guardians will be responsible for their children at all times
- Young children must be accompanied to the toilets / showers. Girls / Boys over 6 years of age must use the appropriate Male / Female facilities. Children are not allowed to play in or around the toilet / shower facilities
- A 5mph speed limit applies at all times
- Dogs are welcome at Crealy Meadows and must be kept on leads at all times. Due to our Zoo licence dogs are not allowed into Crealy Great Adventure Parks * except guide dogs.
Kennels are available – with a refundable deposit of £5. There is a dog walking area at the bottom of the campsite. Owners will be responsible for the removal of any fouling in the Park. Badly behaved Dogs will not be tolerated and owners will be asked to leave.
- Fishing in lake permit – National Rod Licence
- When booking pitches the following information must be considered.
Standard Pitch -Size 10m x 10m Caravans / campers must be parked on either the "off side" or "nearside" of the pitch allowing for the correct orientation for access to the camper / caravan and erection of awnings which must remain within the pitch. Super Pitch -Size 12m x 12m -Super Pitches have hard standings on either the "off side" or "nearside" of the pitch. Windbreaks must not obstruct the thoroughfare between units
- The launching of Chinese Lanterns is prohibited
- Fires are not permissible, our guests are welcome to bring charcoal or gas barbeques provided they are raised off the grass and are suitably sited and attended so they are not a hazard to other campers
